Parents Anonymous® believes that Asking for Help is a Sign of Strength®. We encourage parents, children, and youth to call, text and live chat through the website (caparentyouthhelpline.org) to receive the emotional support you need and deserve, in any language from trained counselors.

California Parent & Youth Helpline (+1-855-427-2736 Push 1)

In partnership with Governor Newsom and the California Department of Social Services, Parents Anonymous® launched an innovative First Responder System for Families in April 2020 to address the impact of the pandemic and provide vital Evidence-Based emotional support by compassionate and trained Helpline counselors for diverse Parents and Youth by phone, text and live chat 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, 8AM-10PM in English, Spanish and all other languages to address all parenting, mental health, and related family issues. Also Free Online Weekly Parents Anonymous® Groups are offered in English and Spanish for Parents statewide. National Parent Helpline (+1-855-427-2736)

Since 1969, Parents Anonymous® has operated the ONLY National Helpline for Parents. Thanks to funding support from the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) of the United States (U.S.) Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the National Parent Helpline® has expanded to become the National Parent & Youth HelplineTM, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide vital Evidence-Based emotional support by compassionate and trained Helpline counselors for diverse Parents and Youth through calls, texts, and chats any time in English, Spanish and 240 other languages to address all parenting, mental health, and related family issues. www.nationalparentyouthhelpline.org  For further information and to join a Parents Anonymous® Support group in your area please complete this contact form and we will respond to you within 24 hours.
