Community and Family Resource Center (CFRC)

Parents Anonymous® Inc. is seeking a dedicated Community Engagement Specialist to support family engagement services and facilitate Evidence-Based programs across the Community and Family Resource Center (CFRC) in Supervisorial District 1. This role is responsible for recruiting participants, conducting assessments, facilitating groups, and linking families to vital services that promote mental health, well-being, and community connection.

Qualifications

  • MUST VERIFY THAT YOU ARE A PEER (WITH LIVED EXPERIENCE): A Peer is an individual who is self-identified as having lived experience with the process of recovery from mental illness, substance use disorder, or both, either as a consumer of these services or as the parent or family member of the consumer.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–2 years of peer support, mental health, or social services experience.
  • Bilingual in English and other languages spoken in Supervisorial District One preferred.

Parents Anonymous® Inc. is seeking a motivated and community-driven Counselor & Group Facilitator to support the Community and Family Resource Center. This role is responsible for conducting outreach and mental health educational events promoting community well-being, build and maintain partnerships with parents, youth, community-based organizations, faith-based institutions, and social service agencies. Facilitate weekly evidence-based Parents Anonymous® Parent, Children & Youth Groups with model fidelity. Complete and document Building Family Strengths Interviews (BFSI) and support RCT processes as assigned. Conduct outreach to maintain 8–10 weekly group participants. Support Parent Leadership, Shared Leadership®, mutual support, and personal growth to strengthen family resilience and prevent Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, MFT, Psychology or Counseling.
  • Must live near West of El Monte including East LA , Boyle Heights, or Chinatown.
  • 3–5 years of experience in clinical mental health or social services
  • An Active and valid registration with the BBS.
  • Bilingual in English and other languages spoken in Supervisorial District One.
  • Able to work evenings and some weekends.

Parents Anonymous® Inc. is seeking a motivated and culturally responsive Bilingual Peer Workforce Developer (English/Spanish) to support the employment success of certified peer support specialists. This role focuses on building relationships with employer partners, coordinating work-based learning and job placements, and providing ongoing support to peers and employers after placement. The Peer Workforce Developer plays a key role in creating meaningful employment pathways while supporting peers on their empowerment journey.

Well-Being Center

Parents Anonymous®  Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and compassionate clinician. The Clinician will provide comprehensive mental health services, including assessments and provide individual, family, and group counseling, for diverse Parents, Children, and Youth, ensuring services align with the vision and mission of Parents Anonymous®. The role involves facilitating Parents Anonymous® groups, conducting outreach and interviews to engage participants, and supporting the development of Parent Group Leaders. Key responsibilities include: crisis intervention, completing required documentation, and maintaining productivity standards while fostering therapeutic processes like Shared Leadership, Mutual support, Parent leadership, and Personal Growth and Change. Clinicians will also participate in regular supervision, community networking, and ensure adherence to program protocols to promote family resiliency and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology or Counseling from an accredited graduate school required.
  • Fully registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and have 1000 hours towards licensure.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English highly preferred and other languages spoken is a plus. Must be able to provide psychotherapy in second language.
