Position Overview:
Parents Anonymous® Inc. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Research Director to oversee research operations, data collection systems, and quality assurance. You will manage the research team, including Data Analysts, and collaborate with consultants to ensure all grant and contract deliverables are met. You will also lead the development of written research protocols, data analysis, and the creation of publishable materials that highlight key research findings. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage research operations, data collection systems, and protocols to ensure all grant and contract deliverables are met.
- Recruit, train, and supervise Data Analysts, overseeing their daily tasks, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Collaborate with the MIS Consultant to coordinate database-related tasks and ensure alignment with research objectives.
- Oversee and maintain the Program Tracking System (PTS) and Chakra systems to manage data and ensure accurate tracking of outcomes.
- Lead quality assurance and data analysis, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of data in coordination with Program Staff.
- Collaborate with Evaluation Consultants on all research projects, ensuring proper data collection and quality assurance protocols are followed.
- Manage the transcription process for research-related calls, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Lead and contribute to the development of peer-reviewed papers, white papers, and scientific publications to disseminate key research findings.
- Assist in the development of technical infrastructure related to data collection and reporting, ensuring alignment with research objectives.
- Provide strategic insights and data analysis to contribute to organizational decision-making and planning.
- Supervise the hardware and software management for research-related operations, ensuring technical resources are aligned with data collection needs.
- Maintain and utilize a S.M.A.R.T. Task List to ensure timely completion of tasks linked to deliverables.
- Accurately document work tasks using the S.M.A.R.T. Goal formula and maintain a log of completed work.
- Adhere to all Parents Anonymous policies and procedures, ensuring confidentiality is maintained.
- Implement job responsibilities professionally, accepting feedback and demonstrating increased competencies through ongoing training and supervision.
- Keep an accurate daily Outlook calendar and share it with supervisors to ensure clear communication regarding availability and commitments.
- Respond promptly and thoroughly to staff emails and communications to foster teamwork and collaboration.
- Attend and engage in required training, staff meetings, and weekly supervision to enhance skills and competencies.
- Maintain professionalism in all written and verbal communications.
- Ensure security and proper use of all assigned equipment (e.g., computer, laptop, monitor).
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Research, Psychology, or related area).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in research management, data analysis, or MIS coordination.
- Proven experience managing and coordinating data systems with a focus on research protocols and quality assurance.
- Experience writing and publishing peer-reviewed papers, white papers, and scientific reports, with strong research and scientific writing skills.
- Strong technical skills in managing data systems, hardware, and software related to research.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and supervisory skills, with experience managing research teams.
- Reliable transportation and availability to report to the office as needed.

Pay: $98,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
